Meet Karen Rightler, PMHNP-BC, a dedicated board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a profound passion for behavioral health. Throughout her extensive nursing career, Karen has acquired valuable experience in diverse settings, including inpatient care, home-based care management, and hospital case management.
Karen's journey in the field of mental health began with her nursing background, but her true calling emerged when she discovered her passion for behavioral health. This led her to pursue further education and training as both a therapist and psychiatry provider. Karen holds a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chapman University in California and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree from D'Youville College in Buffalo, NY.
As a therapist, Karen specializes in Transactional Analysis, a theory of personality that fosters self-awareness, effective communication, personal growth, and positive change. She strongly believes in partnering with her clients to help them improve their self-image, enhance their personal and professional relationships, and empower them to lead fulfilling lives they truly deserve.

In her psychiatric practice, Karen focuses on treating a range of mental health conditions, including Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, and PTSD. Her expertise extends to clients of various age groups, from children aged 6 and above to adolescents and adults. Karen is dedicated to providing comprehensive and individualized care to each of her patients, offering both in-person and telehealth services to accommodate their needs.

Alice Kim Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner-BC:
Alice Kim, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with extensive experience in both acute inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings. Fluent in Korean, Alice is dedicated to providing culturally sensitive care and bridging language barriers to better serve her diverse patient population.
Alice firmly believes that mental health is a vital yet often overlooked aspect of overall healthcare. She is passionate about being an advocate and caregiver for vulnerable individuals, offering a compassionate, empathetic, and nonjudgmental approach to treatment. Her goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where patients feel heard and understood.
With a deep commitment to her life's work, Alice strives to empower her patients by increasing awareness of their mental health conditions and collaborating on personalized care plans. She is devoted to providing quality care, guidance, and support not only to her patients but also to their families during challenging times. Alice’s holistic and patient-centered approach ensures that every individual receives the care and attention they deserve on their journey to mental wellness.

Nalleli Garrido, PMHNP-BC is a Board Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner:
Nalleli graduated from California State University, Long Beach. Nalleli has over 7+ years of experience working with underserved communities with diverse mental health diagnoses. She loves to navigate new hobbies first hand in order to ensure patients gain meaningful coping skills. Her priority is to help patients take control of their mental health through patient education, psychotherapy and medication management.
Nalleli Garrido has experience working with various populations across the lifespan and her areas of focus include: Depression, Anxiety, Adjustment Disorder, Bipolar disorder, ADHD, and PTSD. Nalleli has experience working with incarcerated patients at several county jails, various acute and in-patient settings, and community mental health services.
Patients enjoy Nalleli’s empathetic care and her focus on identifying self-care measures to assist in therapeutic regimens. She strives to develop individualized care plans alongside client’s desired goals, ensuring that treatment aligns with their personal values and lifestyle. Nalleli’s bilingual skills in Spanish allow her to connect with a diverse range of patients, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for their mental health journey.
