 Meet Karen Rightler, PMHNP-BC, a  dedicated board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a profound passion for behavioral health. Throughout her extensive nursing career, Karen has acquired valuable experience in diverse settings, including inpatient care, home-based care management, and hospital case management.

Karen's journey in the field of mental health began with her nursing background, but her true calling emerged when she discovered her passion for behavioral health. This led her to pursue further education and training as both a therapist and psychiatry provider. Karen holds a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chapman University in California and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree from D'Youville College in Buffalo, NY.

As a therapist, Karen specializes in Transactional Analysis, a theory of personality that fosters self-awareness, effective communication, personal growth, and positive change. She strongly believes in partnering with her clients to help them improve their self-image, enhance their personal and professional relationships, and empower them to lead fulfilling lives they truly deserve.

In her psychiatric practice, Karen focuses on treating a range of mental health conditions, including Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, and PTSD. Her expertise extends to clients of various age groups, from children aged 6 and above to adolescents and adults. Karen is dedicated to providing comprehensive and individualized care to each of her patients, offering both in-person and telehealth services to accommodate their needs.

As a native of New York, Karen's roots have played a significant role in shaping her compassionate and empathetic approach to mental health care. With her exceptional combination of nursing, therapy, and psychiatry skills, Karen Rightler is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of her clients, empowering them to overcome challenges, find healing, and lead fulfilling lives.

Dr. Dave Ravi Solandis Mental Health Orange County CA

Meet Dr. Dave Ravi, MD - Supervising Psychiatrist at Solandis Mental Health. He is a Board Certified Psychiatrist with additional expertise in geriatric psychiatry. Dr. Ravi graduated with honors from Virginia Commonwealth University (B.S.) and VCU School of Medicine (M.D.). He completed his Residency in Psychiatry at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and pursued a Fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry at John A. Burns School of Medicine.

Dr. Ravi brings a wealth of experience to the field, having worked in various settings like public, correctional, inpatient, and outpatient facilities. He is also well-versed in telepsychiatry. His areas of consultation cover general psychiatry, including quality improvement, treatment planning, and crisis management, as well as correctional psychiatry, focusing on recovery-oriented treatment for individuals with serious mental illness and dual diagnosis.

Currently serving as a clinical assistant professor of psychiatry at John A. Burns School of Medicine, Honolulu, HI, Dr. Ravi is deeply committed to understanding and addressing complex psychiatric disorders. His interests also extend to the responsible use of psychotropic medications. At Solandis Mental Health, Dr. Ravi plays a vital role in guiding and supervising the Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioners, contributing to the well-being of the community.
